About me
Hand woven from local Bangladeshi seagrass, known as Hogla. Sturdy and deep, with a single shallow handle. Woven by female artisans that are supported by Maison Bengal - a Fairtrade social enterprise that work with women in rural areas of Bangladesh. They train each community with traditional craft skills such as weaving and basketry, and utilise local, natural materials. A slight roughness to each and being entirely handmade, no two will be the same.
